I'm Katie and I simply adore dogs with a passion. They are so special, my heart fills with warmth and joy in their company.

I live in Barfrestone with my husband, two sons and Bryn, our English Springer Spaniel, who dominates my quite sparse website at the moment! I've always had dogs in my life, since the day I was born, and life just isn't the same without them. I'm not able to walk past a dog without smiling with them. 

In 2011 I thought about a career change but wasn't quite ready to take the leap. Then, in early 2026 thought it was now or never, so left my 26 year career in industry to follow my dream of having my own dog day care and home boarding business.  So, this is what I have been busy with since April 2026; Ofqual qualification: The Regulated Level 3 Qualification in Professional Day Care and Boarding; Level 2 Pet First Aid Qualification; Local Authority Licence granted with a 4 Star rating, the highest you can achieve for a new business.  There is still a lot for me to learn about running a business and I may not always get it right. But, I do know I will get the welfare of your dog(s) right, being at the forefront of everything I do. 

As a dog owner who worked full-time, juggling children and the house, I know how challenging it can be to find continuity of care for your dog when you are not around, whether it's for day care or boarding. It would be a privilege for me to look after your treasured dog(s) when you need it and for them to become part of my family when they are visiting. I look forward to meeting you, your beloved dog(s) and to building a long lasting relationship.
