Waggy Days Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions
1. General
1.1 All reservations for WaggyDays services must be made in advance and are subject to availability and completion of a pre‑assessment.
1.2 Full payment for in‑home boarding is required 10 days prior to the start date. Payments are non‑refundable.
1.3 Day‑boarding fees are payable at the time of booking and are non‑refundable. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule.
1.4 Late or missed payments may result in cancellation of the booking.
1.5 Waggy Days accepts cash or bank transfer only.
1.6 No refunds are issued for early collection.
1.7 UK national holidays (including Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve) may incur additional charges.
2. Health & Safety
2.1 Unneutered or unspayed dogs aged 18 months or older are not accepted for daycare or boarding.
2.2 All dogs must be fully vaccinated against distemper, infectious canine hepatitis, parvovirus and leptospirosis. Kennel cough vaccination is optional. Owners understand that immunity may not be immediate following vaccination and that vaccines reduce risk but do not guarantee protection.
2.3 Proof of up‑to‑date vaccinations must be provided prior to admission. WaggyDays reserves the right to refuse entry without valid documentation.
2.4 All dogs must wear an identity tag displaying the owner’s contact details while attending WaggyDays.
2.5 Staff may use an alternative lead if required for safety.
2.6 Owners consent to their dog(s) being walked off‑site with other dogs.
2.7 Owners consent to their dog(s) sharing outdoor and communal spaces with other dogs at the setting.
2.8 Dogs from the same household will share a room unless the owner requests otherwise. WaggyDays may separate household dogs if welfare concerns arise.
2.9 Dogs visiting WaggyDays for a full day or boarding will receive 2 walks per day. Alternative forms of enrichment, of the same duration, will be provided for dogs that cannot be exercised for veterinary reasons.
3. Health Requirements
3.1 Dogs must be free from contagious diseases and parasites.
3.2 Owners must disclose all medical conditions, allergies and dietary requirements at the time of booking and again on arrival. Dogs showing signs of sickness or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours will be refused admission.
3.3 In the event of illness or injury, WaggyDays will attempt to contact the owner or emergency contact. If urgent care is required, WaggyDays may seek veterinary treatment at the owner’s expense. Dogs with diarrhoea will be isolated for monitoring. If symptoms persist beyond 48 hours, the owner or emergency contact must collect the dog.
3.4 If worms, fleas or other parasites are identified, owners give consent for Waggy Days to contact either the dog’s registered vet or WaggyDays’ registered vet (Beacon View Vets, Eastry) for advice and treatment, and to administer any recommended medication.
3.5 Dogs are fed separately unless the owner requests shared feeding for dogs from the same household.
4. Behaviour & Safety
4.1 Dogs displaying aggressive or dangerous behaviour will not be permitted to attend Waggy Days and may be removed from the premises.
4.2 Dogs barking excessively causing noise disturbance to the other dogs and the neighbourhood will not be permitted.
4.3 Owners confirm that their dog(s) is social, has not harmed another dog or person, and has not displayed threatening behaviour. WaggyDays reserves the right to remove any dog from communal areas and place them in a separate holding area if unwanted behaviours occur.
4.4 Owners should provide their dog’s crate if this is their preferred sleeping arrangement. Owners are liable for the cost of repairs to any damage caused by destructive behaviour. All dogs receive appropriate enrichment and exercise to support wellbeing and reduce stress.
5. Personal Items
5.1 WaggyDays is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought onto the premises, including toys, bedding, leads or collars.
6. Liability
6.1 WaggyDays is not liable for injuries caused by other dogs or circumstances beyond our control.
6.2 Waggy Days is not responsible for any illness, injury or death occurring while a dog is in our care, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
6.3 Owners understand that, despite supervision, minor injuries may occur during play, including but not limited to bites, scratches, scrapes or sprains.
6.4 Owners are responsible for all veterinary costs incurred as a result of injury or illness involving their dog, regardless of cause.
7. Consent
7.1 By using our services, owners consent to WaggyDays using photographs or videos of their dog for promotional purposes.
7.2 By using our services, owners agree to follow all WaggyDays policies and procedures designed to maximise welfare and safety.
8. Amendments
8.1 Waggy Days reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be communicated via email, our website and social media platforms.
9. Governing Law
